In recent years, high-strength steel has been used extensively for infrastructures because of its many advantages, such as ductility and strain-hardening properties, which are inferior to those ordinary structural steel, the small dimensions elements, lead greater freedom elegance in design, resulting lighter structures. practice, imperfections residual stresses due welding process pre-buckling mode inevitable cylindrical structures made steel. A imperfection amplitude can a disproportionate reduction buckling strength. Therefore, sensitivity should be considered when studying behaviour shell. The influence combined stress on Q690 high strength shell under global bending not yet investigated described all dimensions. this paper, influences elastic-plastic range investigated. Using ABAQUS fine elements software, perfect cylinders with constant length thickness ratio equal 7 radius 10≤ r/t ≤700 were perform linear bifurcation analysis (LBA) geometric nonlinear (GNA). non-linear (GNIA) material (GMNIA) then performed considering amplitudes between 0.01 2 derive critical loads known point models different aspect ratio. show that moderately very thin sensitive increase their is insensitive plasticity. For thick cylinders, effect plasticity more consistent, while significantly affected by amplitude. main objective predict imperfection. obtained results, comments conclusions intend allow safer.
